Rapid

Rapid was created in Sweden in 1936, having launched the K1 stapler, which today, with just a few changes, is the best-selling office stapler in the world!

In 1950 the first hammer stapler was created, and in 1957, the first professional manual stapler. After 75 years, Rapid is today an internationally recognized brand, marked by tradition, design and innovation.

Since 2010 it has been part of Esselte Corporation, headquartered and manufacturing in Sweden (in Huestra) and logistics center in France (St. Amé). In 1999, the Swedish factory was certified in accordance with ISO 14001, an international guarantee for the environmental management system that specifies requirements related to the environmental impacts of organizational activities.

All Usaberg Rapid products sold in the EU are certified according to European directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS). Certified under the ISO 9002 quality standard since 1991, and ISO 9001 since 1995.

Currently, Rapid maintains a permanent concern with the efficiency of its processes, and ambitious goals for quality and continuous improvement of its products.
